Am 12.04.1465 als "her Herborg" genannt (Old. UB VIII 177), 1466 Burgmann in Vechta (Old. UB V 797), 1468 verkauft er ein Haus in Cloppenburg. Am 03.12.1468 Zeuge einer Stiftung (Old. UB VIII 186). 1471 erscheint er als Besitzer von Gut Lethe ("thorLether Möhlen"). Etwa 1474 bis nach 1507 Drost in Cloppenburg: 1474, 1486 (Old. UB V 845), 1497 (Ostfr. UB 1530 und 1531 - 1531 unterschreibt er als "amptman"), 1503 (Old. UB III 158), 1507 (Old. UB VIII 276) erwähnt.
