Via this page we would like to show you the results of some of our hobbies.
On the genealogy homepage a database can be browsed, containing more than 85000 persons. The, relatively, more recent persons were living in The Netherlands, in the provinces South-Holland, Gelderland and Groningen. As far as the less recent ancestors is concerned, they come from all over Europe also due to relations with the nobility. If you find yourself or some of your ancestors related please inform us so that we can extend the database.
On the astronomy homepage a program can be downloaded. This program offers you the possiblity to determine the curve a space object will make when it enters the field of gravity of the planet Earth or the Sun. The location of the object can be entered and the curve will be shown on the screen. Also the curves of the Moon and the eight planets around the Sun is shown. Also the details about rotation-time and speed can be shown.
Furthermore some information about the Relativity Theory is given. For instance the well known paradox about the barn and pole has been worked out based on the formulae of the Lorentz transformation.
On the phylosophy homepage information is given over some deliberations on human kind.
